Hero Motocorp is updating the vehicles associated with its lineup with the OBD 2B engine. The company launched an update model of HF 100 today in the Indian market today (April 23). The passenger bike engine is updated according to the OBD 2B Rule, which gives the 70kmpl mileage.
In addition to these, no changes have been made to the bike design, hardware and features. Its ex -showroom is priced at Rs 60,118, which is more than Rs 1,100 than the current model. In the Indian market, it competes with bikes like Bajaj Platina 100, TVS Sport and Honda Shine 100.
According to the OBD2B tradition, Hero has already updated the engine of Splendar Plus, Pace Plus, Glamor, Super Splender XTEC, Extreme 160 R2V and Extreme 160 and 4V.
Design: Options of red black and blue black The company has made any changes in the styling of 2025 Hero HF 100. It looks like before. The bike gets two color options- red black and blue as before.

Hardware and Features: 130mm Drum Break with Integrated Breaking System Hero HEF 100 supplies the front telescopic fork for 100 comfortable riding and absorbing bilateral hydraulic shock in the rear. At the same time, for breaking, it has a 130mm drum brake in both wheels, which comes with the integrated braking system. This is a version of the Hero’s Combined Breaking System (CBS).
The bike has an 18 -inch alo -wheel and both the front and rear wheels are 2.75 inch wide tires. It weighs 110 kg, it has a 9.1-liter fuel tank, its seat is 805 mm and ground clearance 165 mm.
HF 100 is a common passenger bike, but it still has some features such as the engine-off and the side-stand down engine cut-off. But the lights are still in the vicinity of halogen. The console has analog speedometer and fuel gauge as well as other ledge-like lights.

Performance: 70kmpl certified mileage The bike has a 97.2 CC single-cylinder air-coolid engine, which is now updated according to the OBD2B emission rules. What is the OBD2B engine? On-board Diagnostic Stage 2B (OBD 2B) is a part of the BS 6 rules, which has become mandatory for all trains in India since April 1 2025 It is an advanced diagnostic system, which observes engine and emission problems.
Technical changes were made to reduce the emissions of 50-70% in the BS6 engine, which was effective from April 1 2020 than BS4. In it, the fuel injection system was used instead of carburetor and cattle converter to the treatment. In addition to these, ECU tuning was also done for better fuel burning and emission control.
