Hero Motocorp is preparing to launch two cheap electric bio-wheels. It can be launched in July. Through this, the company wants to raise its market shares. Vader Scooter will compete with scooters of companies like Ola, Ather, Bajaj
The company is currently producing around 000,7 electric vehicles every month. According to a report by Autoker, the Hero Motocorp is expecting a combined volume of 13,000-15,000 units per month with VIDA VID V2 and ACPD (low price version). It is planned to extend it to 20,000 units during the festive season of 2025.
V1’s V1 Updated version was launched in December
Hero launched the VDA V2 V2 updated version on December 4 2024. The company has introduced a new range of electric scooters at three variants-V2 lights, V2 Plus and V2 Pro.
The initial price of the VIDA V2 range is 96,000 rupees, which goes up to Rs 1.35 lakh in the top variant V2 Pro. The company is offering a vehicle warranty 5 years or 50,000 km with electronic scooters, while the battery pack has 3 years or 30,000 km warranty.
Once full charging on the V2 Pro variant, a range of 94 km is available. The new Hero Vida V2 is competing with electric scooters such as Ather Risk, Ather 450 X, Ola S1 Range, Bajaj Chetak and TVS IQ.
