The Indian Railway has launched the new super app ‘railway’. This app has been brought with the intention of providing all passenger services to the same platform.
IRCTC reserve, unarmed and platform ticket booking, tracking of PNR and train status, coach location, rail assist and travel response can be found in this application.
What is the ‘Railway’ app?
- The focus of the Railway app is to give the user a better experience through a simple interface.
- Through the Railway App, the user will receive all railway services on the same platform.
- The new Railway app is available for downloads both Android Playstore and iOS App Store Platform.
- This application has a single-sign-on ability, that is, the user does not need to remember multiple-passwords.
- All the user’s railway services will not require different applications, which will reduce the need for device storage.
- The app will also benefit the R-Wallet (Railway E-Wallet). Users can access the account through MPIN and Biometric Login options.
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnava today launched a new app on the 40th Foundation Day of the Railway Information System (CRIS) at the India Habitat Center in New Delhi.
Indian railroad travelers use many applications and websites for many services. These include IRCTC Rail Connect for Booking Tickets, IRCTC E-Courting Food on Track for Ordering Food, Rail Help for Reaction, UTS and National Train Investigation System for Purchase of Trains to monitor the movement of trains.
IRCTC Rail Connection Resort Tickets have special rights for booking. The rail connect has exceeded 100 million downloads, it has created it as the most popular railway app. External travel booking platforms depend on IRCTTC for train bookings, which reflects its vital role in conservation of online railway.

Tickets will be confirmed 8 hours before the train departs: just 4 hours before the chart is released; Railways will implement the rules all over the country
Now the reservation chart of the trains will be prepared 8 hours before leaving the trains. So far this chart was done only 4 hours ago. With it, passengers will get more time to book alternative journey or any other ticket if you are not sure of the ticket.
